Three years ago, I started learning how my camera functions and what it entails to take a good photograph. The first course I undertook with Johny Spencer, a professional photographer, was a short online landscape and nature photography course.
Twelve months later, I joined Johny's 3CX online masterclasses to focus on producing the best photographs I could to satisfy my creative tastes in landscape and nature photography.
Through Johny's passion for photography and to teach others the craft, I have learnt a wealth of information from him. He has a casual and relaxed teaching style and is easy to understand.
The 3CX community is a friendly learning space where everyone is there to support everyone else. Through the software platform, Discord, weekly community calls are held and an opportunity for everyone who wishes to discuss desired topics.
Here's why I love 3 Colors - After doing a couple of photography courses and then stagnating again, I was frustrated and wanting more from my photography. I was looking for three things, a place where I would not only be taught by a professional photographer but would also have my photos critiqued honestly but kindly, a place where I could ask questions and get answers, and finally a group of people willing to celebrate each other’s growth rather than tear them down. I finally found all three in 3 Colors. Johny’s manner of teaching is easy to understand and his critiquing methods have not disappointed. The members in the group are fantastic and helpful; I am loving getting to know everyone a bit more during our once-a-week group call, where we tackle subjects posed by the group. I truly feel that in the time I have been with 3 Colors, I have grown as a photographer and have certainly grown in confidence.
